Please Help If You Can
Our Adoption Coordinator, Kathy Hunt, was kind enough to make the run to pick up litter and food for our residents, as I was double-timing it caring for the new admissions.
Today was a very expensive day! Here's the breakdown:
First thing this morning: Our A/C went out due to a clogged drain line. Farrell sent someone right away - $320
Supplies: For the adults: Litter: $83; Kibble: $309; Can food: $250;
For the moms and kittens: Kibble and can food $300; Dewormer, flea prevention: $305, vaccines: $378 - for a grand total of (drum roll please): $1,379. Because of a very generous donor, we actually had that amount in our account. We really need to recoup those funds - we have lots of spay/neuters upcoming. Please share! Wow! I reached out on FaceBook for help with a young cat that was dumped in my neighborhood. Within moments of my post, RaeAnna of Little Cats jumped in & offered help. Thanks to her amazing rescue, there is now one less un-neutered cat out there. He is now in a loving home & will be neutered in a few days.
