When a neighbor one mile away, who has dogs that absolutely despise cats calls and tells you that this cat has been sitting on his porch for four days trying to get inside and that he has asked all the other neighbors if they recognize her; when he has called all local rescues and shelters INCLUDING Pasco Animal Services and is told, "no we cannot help/take her," what exactly are we to do other than take her - and immediately bring her to our vet. She is in very rough shape. We named her Hope. Dr. Campos guestimates her to be 14 years old. She is emaciated weighing 4.7 lbs. She is, for all intents and purposes, blind in one eye. She was severely dehydrated and has no teeth. She does have a tipped ear, so she has been spayed at one point. At one point, someone cared about her. How did she end up on this guy's porch - seemingly from out of nowhere? How long has she been out there, all alone - suffering, starving? And yet, she is THE sweetest old girl.

Thankfully, Hope is negative for FIV/FeLv/HW. We are waiting the results of a senior profile including fecal and T-4 (there's a good chance she is hyperthyroid). This sweet girl was put thru a lot at the vet and yet she remained sweet. We have her set up in a double condo on he back porch with fans. Hope's bill today was $406 - a shock to our bank account. No matter what, Hope will have a home with us for however long she needs.

If you are able to contribute to her wellbeing

We no longer have Zelle. https://linktr.ee/thelittlecatsrescue  Or, you can mail a check to 4229 Abaco Court, New Port Richey, FL 34653

we thank you with purrs and sandpaper kisses.

I've definitely been in situations where just wishing for a better outcome wasn't productive, and it's empowering to see that acknowledged. It's made me reconsider how I approach challenges, looking for more concrete steps rather than just relying on a positive outlook https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/ I'm much better informed about the nuances of hope needs now, thank you for that. Considering the potential downsides is also crucial; I hadn't fully appreciated the risks involved until reading this. For me, the real turning point came when I stopped overthinking the concept and started seeing it as a tool to be combined with other strategies. This has…
