Lisa and Ramon had originally applied to adopt Kami. But when they got here, Ramon realized that he wanted kittens. Lisa wanted a big bushy Maine Coon or similar. Kami was disinterested. Two weeks later, Kami was adopted by his purrfect match, and when I offered Lisa and Ramon to "foster/adopt" the Ragdolls, you'd have thought they won the bazillion dollar lottery! We've learned over these 25 years that patience is important in matching kitties and humans. Always go with your gut!!!
Don't worry! Their mom (super feral but contained in an apartment, as it's very unsafe where she was (neighbor was killing cats in terrible ways), so Maya and her mom are trying to socialize her. They love her and named her Princess. We're getting her spayed very soon. Hopefully, Princess will be able to return to their home forever and never have to worry again!
