Update as of 8/25/2025-Spice

Good news!!! We saved Spice's eye!!! She's still a little ouchy, so different eye med, but she is freed to roam, scamper and full-out run thru the Sanctuary.   Spice, Spirit and I couldn't be happier!

Spice is thrilled to have some freedom from being cooped up in a (large, luxurious) crate with a donut collar around her neck.. It's her reward for allowing me to administer treatment for her eye six times a day. She loves those spring toys. Her recheck with vet is Thursday. From the looks of her eye, she has a long way to go. We still don't know if we can save her sight in that eye.

Spice in the treatment room. Her eye is slowly inching its way toward being healed. She gets meds six times a day. So, she gets wet food six times a day - and she's lovin' it!
