It's a wonderful day for an adoption. Miley just left for her new and forever home with Nicole and Brian. I knew it was going to be Miley before they even arrived. Sure enough, Miley met them at the door (a first for her) and followed them throughout the Sanctuary. She even let Brian hold for for a good while! Miley had a terrible experience before she arrived here at the young age of three months old! she had been adopted in Orlando, was pretty sick upon adoption, and the woman was angry so she threw her outside! Fortunately, a neighbor saw this happen, scooped her up and contacted us. Miley was a mess when she arrived - scabies, coccidia and URI. We got her all fixed up, and she has been a delightful guest since. While she isn't bonded to anyone here, she did get along with all the cats and doggos. She will have a new and forever brother named Willie - and we couldn't be happier.
