Urgent Need for Jack (As of 8/20/2024)

Jack is at the vet having his surgery. If all five hundred and eighty seven people who liked or loved this post donated even ONE dollar, we would have a good part of his bill. But sadly, we haven't even received $100. I don't know if it's because there isn't a Facebook donate button, or what the actual reason is that we've been unable to come up with the finds needed for his surgery. I know most of us are struggling. I know there are a lot of worthy causes out there. Unlike many others, we've never had any paid staff. Not even the founder. We've survived for over 23 years through fundraisers, donations and adoption fees. We have some truly amazing, generous and consistent donors, but compared to our followers, they are a handful and give well above and beyond. They've kept us alive. They've allowed us to save many, many lives. We can't threaten to close down like some do, because there's nowhere for these cats to go, and we promised them a lifetime of care. and we will fulfill our promise to them whatever it takes. Not only are the donations dwindled, but adoptions are few and far between. We currently have fifty-six mouths to feed and an abundance of vet bills. So please, if you could just dig deep and pull out a dollar out of your pocket and put it to Cuddly or PayPal or Venmo or Zelle, or in the mail. Every dollar adds up. I'm not begging for myself, I'm begging for Jack and the others like him. Thank you for anything you can do.

Please can you spare anything to put towards Jack's bill? His surgery is Tuesday. There's a link at the bottom of the post.

Original Post:

Everyone, meet Jack. He's just under four months old and was discarded like trash. Luckily, he found his way to safety at our Sanctuary. Jack is so sweet and purry. We had him neutered, tested for FIV/FelV, microchipped and vaccinated at HSTB. Sadly, he tested positive for FIV, but FIV Is no longer a death sentence. Research shows that an FIV positive and an FIV negative kitty can safely live together. The problem arises if they get into a fight and there is a deep bite or if they engage in intercourse. Adding to his sorrows - Jack is covered in ringworm and has a badly infected polyp in his ear. Dr. Pierce will be removing the polyp on Tuesday. For now, Jack is set up comfortably in the kitchen, isolated from the masses. He has a hammock, toys and a nice view. He's a lovely little guy who will, under our care, eventually be all better and available for adoption. For now, he's getting all the Tender Loving Care we can give him.

Please share his plight - if you can donate ANY amount, please do. We are struggling mightily.   You can use the following link for making donations, or mail to 4229 Abaco Court, New Port Richey, FL 34653

Here is a CUDDLY fundraiser, just for Jack!

We really need some funds! Please donate through any of our platforms in this link or buy some raffle tickets!

Hello, in an effort to help get donations for your cause I just wanted to offer a possible reason why there has not been response. I received an email, but the only way to donate is through Cuddly. When I was about to complete the transaction, I realized they want to tack on an additional $2.99. That is a high fee to donate $25. So I took it upon myself to search your website on the web, where I found Jack's story. Now I see I have different options like Venmo and Zelle, which made me happy and want to proceed with trying to help Jack. You may want to suggest to your social media manager this information - …
