Our Newest Director

We'd like to introduce you to our newest Director, Alyssa Ramirez, who is also our Fundraising Coordinator. We met Alyssa and Tom a few years back, when they adopted two of our favorites, Brody and Quinn. (names taken from Homeland). They have been wonderful friends to our rescue. They also returned to adopt another favorite, Gabbie (named after the opera star, Gabriella Tucci, 'cause of her lungs!) Alyssa joins Jodi Chemes and our founder, RaeAnna V Saks, on the Board of Directors.
This post title really got me thinking about a time a few years back when our team at work brought on a new project lead. I remember being a little apprehensive at first, as change can be tough, and we'd all gotten pretty comfortable with the old way of doing things. But this new person, they just had this incredible knack for seeing possibilities where we'd only seen roadblocks https://www.freetv.com.au/ They weren't afraid to ask tough questions, but they did it in a way that made everyone feel heard and valued, rather than defensive.
