Looking for His Furever Home

This precious boy needs his own home. He's a big boy - part Maine Coon. He's so sweet, so smart, so affectionate, and so headstrong! He's about four years old, neutered, tested negative, microchipped, vaccinated. Kami prefers the option of hanging out in a screened-in area.

Kami was a stray who took up residence in someone's garage. They searched for an owner for a month and, when no owner came forward, we took him in. Kami has been struggling to peacefully co-exist with all the other cats here at the Sanctuary. He's really trying, but he deserves to not have to TRY. Kami does fine with our big goofy doggo. We don't recommend small children, because if you do something he doesn't want (like remove him from the kitchen, try to trim his claws) - he will lash out.

Kami is addicted to Churros (we use the Solid Gold version). He will find me and lead me to where he knows they are kept. He will stand on his hind legs, put his front legs on me, and actually TELL me to give him some. Yes, "some," 'cause one isn't enough!

Please share him. He could do well in a home with one or two other laid-back, chill cats and a cat-loving dog or as an only pet. He really wants a screened in area, so that would be a plus.
